Computer Science and Engineering.

The Programme
Established in the year 1994, the Department offers a 4-year B.E. Degree programme in:

    - Computer Science and Engineering, with an annual intake of 120 students.

The Staff

The Department has 23 members of faculty and 2 members of supporting staff, with 1 Professors, 2 Associate Professors and 20 Assistant Professors.

Distinctions

The academic performance of the students has been consistently outstanding, among the affiliate colleges. the average pass percentage of the students is 92.54. On an average, 50% of the students go abroad for pursuing their higher studies. There has been a steady increase in the number of students placed through campus recruitment in reputed organisations - Satyam, L & T, Wipro, Tata Consultancy Services [TCS] and CMC etc.

The Infrastructure

The Computer Centre includes three laboratories, an Internet gateway, a Server Room, and a facility for scanning and printing spread across an area of 2,400 Sq.ft. The laboratories house 95 computer systems, connected to the campus-wide LAN. The laboratories are equipped with various software C, C++, Oracle, Visual Studio, Java and Case Tools.
